About Beth E. Wetmore
Education: Beth holds a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Nazarene University. She continues to develop professionally through consultation, on-going workshops and seminars.
Philosophy: Beth works with people from all walks of life to achieve their goals through the healing
power of the therapeutic relationship. Her approach to therapy combines empathy, safety and
compassion and is very collaborative. She believes that genuine and meaningful change takes place as
clients grow in awareness, balance and clarity. She will gladly integrate her client’s faith into their
treatment at their request.
Professional Experience: Beth’s clinical experience includes providing a wide range of counseling
services to adult individuals, adolescents, groups and couples. She is experienced in helping people
suffering from grief/loss, depression, anxiety, relational disappointment, adjustment concerns and low
self-esteem along with those desiring to increase their life satisfaction through personal growth
counseling. She has worked in community mental health agencies, in outpatient counseling centers and
in private practice and on a university campus.
Professional Interests: Beth enjoys working with both male and female adult clients, adolescents and
couples. Areas of interest include the following: depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem,
communication, season of life adjustment, coping with grief and loss and wellness-balance- self care. She
is committed to listen, observe, suggest, challenge and encourage clients as they journey toward the life
Professional Memberships: Beth is a professional member of the American Counseling Association,
American College Counselor Association and the Oklahoma Counseling Association.
